Police interrogate suspects in Ranjangaon murder case

Waluj MIDC police interrogated around 15 to 20 suspects in the murder of Bhimrao Savate at Ranjangaon Shenpunji at the Waluj Mahanagar area. The police received important information that the murdered after committing the murder, fled away from the scene with the mobile phone and two-wheeler of the deceased Bhimrao. The police are investigating in this direction now.

An unidentified murderer murdered Bhimrao with a sharp weapon. The incident came to light on Wednesday evening. The murderer shot a video of the murder scene on the mobile phone of the decease after the murder and sent it on the decease’s wife Vaishali''s mobile phone. He also made her a Whatsapp call.

On receiving the information, Vaishali came to Ranjangaon from her parents'' home on Wednesday evening and found Bhimrao stabbed in a half-naked condition on the bed at home. Waluj MIDC PI, Madhukar Sawant, API Vijay Gharde and others rushed to the spot. The body was sent to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for post-mortem after inquiry.

Meanwhile, the murderer took away the mobile phone and two-wheeler of the deceased Bhimrao after the murder. A case has been registered against an unknown murderer on the complaint lodged by Vaishali Savate. The police are searching for the murderer and he will be arrested soon, said PI Sawant.
