Power supply on war footing to 2 CCCs

Aurangabad, May 5: The MSEDCL gave power connections on a war footing to two Covid care centres (CCCs) in the district in view of the Covid-19 pandemic. The work which takes 8 to 10 days is being done in 24 to 48 hours these days to meet power requirements of the CCCs.

Medical officer at Siddhanath Wadgaon informed the MSEDCL on April 28 that the construction and electrical infrastructure work has been completed by the contractor through the Public Works Department for the proposed CCC there. After completing all approvals and formalities quickly, the electricity connection was provided on May 1.

Also on April 27, a demand was made for an electrical connection to start CCCC at Shri 1008 Neminath Digambar Jain Temple at Lasur station. Accordingly, the work of 3 pole high tension line, 63 KVA transformer and low tension cable was immediately approved and completed in 3 days. On May 3, the connection was given. Under the guidance of Joint Managing Director Dr Naresh Gite, Chief Engineer Bhujang Khandare and team oversaw the fast execution.
