Preparations for the stone lying of electrification work

Aurangabad, Feb 28:

The then railway minister laid the stone of the model railway station around five and half years back but the work was not completed yet. The work of model railway station is still on the papers. Now, the present railway minister Piyush Goyal will lay the foundation stone of the electrification of the single lane.

Aurangabad railway station was including in the model railway station scheme. In the first phase, the new building of the railway station was completed. In the second phase, the old building was to be developed. The then railway minister, Suresh Prabhu laid the foundation stone of this work on July 2, 2015. However, this work was not started until now.

Now, the electrification work of the single lane at the Aurangabad railway station will begin soon. The railway minister Piyush Goyal will come to the city for laying the stone of this work soon. In this backdrop, the various works have been undertaken at the station. The building is being coloured. However, the railway officers were not able to tell when the work of the second phase of the model railway station will start.

MP, Imtiyaaz Jaleel said, the railway gave only the assurances. It is told that the survey work is going on, small railway stations are being developed. Then why, our railway station is not being developed, is the real question. The people are not satisfied. It is only the attempt to show that something is going, he said.
