Public representatives vow to re-election Nitin Patil as ADCCB chairman

Aurangabad, March 11:

The public representatives including MLA Haribhau Bagade, minister Sandeepan Bhumre, minister of state Abdul Sattar proclaimed that all candidates representing Shetkari Vikas Panel (SVP), in the Aurangabad District Central Co-operative Bank (ADCCB) election, will get elect with a majority and Nitin Patil will continue his term as ADCCB chairman.

While addressing the media persons, Bagade claimed that all the candidates of their panel will be elected in the ADCCB election. Bhumre mentioned the names of all candidates, while Sattar underlined that Nitin Patil would continue to be the chairman. Bagade and others announced their support to re-elect Patil. It may be noted Patil had shortlisted the names of 11 candidates on Wednesday.

The SVP candidates contesting election from Shetaki Matadar Sangh include Javed Patel, Sunita Vilas Chavan, Suhas Shirsaat, Arjun Gade, Surekha Prabhakar Kale, Manoj Rathod and Sandeepan Bhumre. They are representing Aurangabad, Khuldabad, Phulambri, Sillod, Soyegaon, Kannad and Paithan tehsils.

Bagade said, " We tried out best to conduct the election unopposed. In the co-operative sector, there is no party. It is important to sustain societies. We would behave in such a way that it would not create an obstruction in the sector. Suresh Patil had united all of us during the last election also. He had maintained transparency, and his legacy was being continued for the past two years by Nitin Patil as the bank's chairman. His tenure was also outstanding."

In Marathwada, DCCB at Aurangabad and Latur are into profits. There are no pending debts left to be cleared. It is the bank of farmers, therefore, our focus will be on empowering the ryots in large numbers, stressed Bagade.

DCCB is a pious temple for farmers

In response to a query that the minister, MLAs, MPs should not interfere in bank activities, Abdul Sattar said, " This is farmers bank, and it is a pious temple for them. It is wrong to say that public representatives should not work in the co-operative sector. We all were associated with the bank in the past. This election, the announcement of SVP winners is just a formality, which would be completed soon."

Sattar also commented saying, " We all hail from farmers family, then how come we are the established ones." His comment was a reply to the leaders of the opposite panel, who had pronounced that their fight is against the established ones in the bank.

MLC Ambadas Danve, Annasaheb Mane, Damuanna Navpute, Ankush Randhe, Abhijeet Deshmukh and others were also present at the press conference.
