Rains in the city for the second day in a row

Heavy rains lashed the city on Saturday afternoon. The Chikalthana observatory recorded 13.4 mm rain, while the MGM observatory recorded 14.2 mm rains.

It rained for the second day in a row. The Cidco area got rain in the morning hours and the old city in the afternoon. But it was not as heavy as the torrential rain that fell on Friday. However, it rained heavily for an hour in Cidco, Chikalthana and Bhavsinghpura areas at 11.30 am. The rain had cooled down till 3.30 pm. It rained sparsely in Harsul, Aurangpura and Begumpura. After that, the rain disappeared. The sky was covered with clouds throughout the day. It was expected to rain heavily today hence many citizens carried raincoats and umbrellas. Several areas also experienced power cuts throughout the day.
