Service to poor is noble work: Dr Yelikar

Aurangabad, June 10:

“Service to poor and needy people and helping them is a noble work,” said Dr Kanan Yelikar, dean of Government Medical College and Hospital while inaugurating a charitable clinic at Shahnoorwadi.

The clinic provides free medical treatment to poor patients. This is the fourth charitable clinic of Islamic Research Centre (IRC) Education And Welfare Trust in the city. She also visited IRC office.

She said that after seeing the services of IRC for the poor and needy, the belief grows that there are still good people in society.

President of the Trust adv Faiz Syed felicitated the Dean. Deputy Dean Dr Kailas Zine, Dr Suresh Harbade (Medical Superintendent) and Laxmikant Shingote (social service Superintendent, Department of Social Services) graced the programme. Arshad Khan, Naheed Siddiqui, Muhammad Zubair and others were present. Khwaja Aleemuddin made an introductory speech.
