Strange reasons by curfew violaters leave police bewildered

Aurangabad, April 15:

Cops on Thursday caught an entire posse of violators mostly youngsters that continue to violate the lockdown. However, the strange reasons furnished by some of the violaters has driven the cops to despair. In one such incident, a person caught by the Kranti Chowk police told the police that he was on his way to release the rats caught from his house. Not falling for his creative reason, the cops fined him Rs 500.

A 15-day curfew has been imposed across the state since Wednesday night to control the rising corona infection. Today was the first day of the curfew. The government directed to take direct action against the citizens who break the curfew and leave their homes. As a result, strict police bandobast has been deployed across the city to keep a curb on citizens wandering without any reason. However, people continue to violate the lockdown. When caught most citizens say that they are going to the hospital, buying groceries, while some wander around with emergency services ID cards. But some come up with unique reasons that even surprise the police officials. Meanwhile, the commissioner of police, two deputy commissioners and all the police force were patrolling the city to take action against violators. PI Santosh Patil, AI Shraddha Vaidande and other staff took action against the citizens in the scorching sun at Akashwani Chowk. DCP Nikesh Khatmode Patil, ACP Suresh Wankhede, PI G H Darade were taking action at Kranti Chowk. PI Sachin Ingole took action at Harsul T-Point.

No masks due to moustache

During the operation, police spotted a man riding a bike without a mask. When stopped, the man said that he suffers from asthma. However, police noticed that he was not wearing a mask so that he could show his moustache to others. He was fined by the police.
