Suspended officers, employees likely to be called back on duty

Aurangabad, Oct 13:

Some suspended employees and officers from Marathwada are likely to be called on duty. A hearing of divisional corruption eradication committee was held at divisional commissioner office 11 am on Tuesday.

President of the panel and divisional commissioner Sunil Kendrekar, its member secretary and deputy commissioner (Revenue) Parag Soman and other officers present. A total of 40 cases came up for hearing. An employee gets 75 per cent salary in the suspension period.

The committee is considering to call them back on duty to those who were found innocent. The State Government set up the committee to eradicate corruption on a divisional level. It holds hearings on complaints and grievances of work delay, irregularities due to corruption.

On receiving written complaints, the panel can decide on carrying out the independent local level probe. Parag Soman said that suspension cases came up for hearing before the committee. He said that after proceeding, the decision would be taken on suspension cases.
