Tarang Jain inspects Kham River works

Aurangabad, June 2:

The beautification, expansion, strengthening, plantation, pitching and painting works of the Kham Rivers area is under progress. On Wednesday, the chief managing director of the Varroc Company, Tarang Jain inspected the works in progress. He walked and inspected the work from Lokhandi Pull to Barapulla Gate. He expressed satisfaction and praised the work done so far.

The work of rejuvenation of the Kham River is under progress for the past four months. The works have been undertaken under the Maharashtra Government’s Mazi Vasundhara campaign by Aurangabad Municipal Corporation, Smart City, Varroc Company, Cantonment Board, MSCDCL, CII, Eco Satva and through people’s participation.

The work was inspected by Jain and Satish Mande. He discussed with the concerned authorities about the measures being taken to stop pollution in the river. He praised the work done by municipal commissioner Astik Kumar Pandey in this regard. Pandey directed that all the works in the river bed should be completed before the monsoon. Environmentalist Natasha Zareen, Gauri Mirashi, AMC officer Asadullah Khan and others were present.
