Mercury has started rising once again in the city as temperature reached 40.1 degrees on Sunday. For the second time in a row, the temperature rose to 40.1 degrees Celsius.

The temperature in the city has been rising for the past few days. As the temperature has now crossed 40 degrees, the citizens are feeling the heat of the summer season. The mercury is starting to rise from 9 am. The heat becomes unbearable between 12 noon and 4 pm. However, the clouds appeared in the evening on Sunday. But there was no relief from the heat. From March, the temperature in the city began to rise. The average maximum temperature in March is between 35 and 39 degrees Celsius. The intensity of summer increases in the month of April. On April 7, the temperature was recorded at 40.1 degrees Celsius. The same temperature was recorded on Sunday. The meteorological department has forecast further rise in temperature in the coming weeks.
