Aurangabad, April 29:

To register their protest against the failure of governments in resolving their issues, disappointed tourism associates have decided to observe Black Day on May 1. The organisers comprising All India Tourist Guides Association, Tour Operators and Travel Agents, and Travel and Tourism Stakeholders underlined the severe recession faced by the tourism industry for the past 14 months. The industry is gasping for a fresh lease of life and the dependents upon it are on verge of starving, but the Central and the State Government are least bothered in resolving our issues, they claimed. Hence to register protest against the governments, the associates claimed of observing the Black Day.

The organisers appealed to the participants to take a selfie by wearing a black colour mask and post the photos on social media with hashtag Save Tourism. The protest is expected to be participated by petty handicraft sellers to the hoteliers.
