UDD approves 953 fresh posts under new staffing pattern

Aurangabad, Feb 15:

The state Urban Development department (UDD) has issued a government resolution (GR) approving 5,716 posts under the new staffing pattern of the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) today.

The AMC had submitted the proposal of recruiting 4,975 new posts under the new pattern, but the government following the financial constraints had okayed 953 new posts only. Earlier, the strength of sanctioned posts in AMC was 4,763.

The UDD's directives stated that the government will not be granting any fund for the posts recommended under new staffing pattern and also for filling up the proposed additional posts. The GR, however, permits AMC to outsource the services, if it feels necessary and possible to do so financially. The filling of new posts is to be done with care so that the cost of the establishment does not exceed 35 per cent.
