Warehousing Corporation instructed to clean godowns for keeping EVMs

Aurangabad, June 3:

District collector Sunil Chavan directed Maharashtra State Warehousing Corporation (MSWC) on Thursday to keep their godowns clean to keep electronic voting machines (EVMs) safely for using them in elections. Sunil Chavan inspected three godowns of MSWC at Railway MIDC today.

He instructed Public Works Department (PWD) and MSWC to keep godowns clear and maintain the required electricity and security system. PWD executive engineer S S Bhagat, deputy engineering Ashok Yerekar, branch engineer Anil Holkar, junior engineer of Electricity Department, officers and employees were present. The Warehousing Corporation will have to make available all facilities and tight security for EVMs.
