Wife alleges husband’s murder posed as suicide

Aurangabad, Feb 25:

Kavita Kakasaheb Kanse alleged that her husband’s murder was posed as suicide while he was being treated at the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for Covid-19. No inquiry was conducted after his death and the responsible doctors and employees are being shielded, she alleged. She demanded to the GMCH administration that strict action should be taken in this matter.

Congress activist from Paithan, Kakasaheb Kanse jumped from the window of the fourth floor of the GMCH Super Speciality building on September 27, 2020, which the doctors were taking round in the ward. His wife Kavita Kanse alleged that the doctors and employees had drawn her husband out of the ward and his physical strength was less due to Corona infection. Hence, he fell from the window, she alleged in a memorandum presented to GMCH administration on Thursday. She demanded strict legal action in this regard by conducting an inquiry, informed dean Dr Kanan Yelikar.
