Work of Hedgewar hospital is commendable - Governor

Aurangabad, July 11:

The charitable work done by Dr Hedgewar hospital is commendable and the hospitals of the pratishthan should aim to expand their existing capacity of 600 beds to 6,000 beds, said Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari.

The governor was speaking at a programme organised at the release of the five year report (2015-20) of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Vaidyakiya Pratishthan which runs various medical institutions including Dr Hedgewar Hospital and other hospitals in the state on Sunday at Raj Bhavan. President of the Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Vaidyakiya Pratishthan Dr Anil Bhalerao, general secretary Dr Anant Pandhare, businessman Ramesh Tenwala, Sunil Kejriwal, Ravindra Sanghvi, Rajendra Barwale and Dr Usha Krishna was present. Siddharth Bhimrajka, Nishith Sanghrajka, Shaila Gokhale, Sunil Kejriwal, Rajendra Barwale, Rajiv Kumar Singhal of SBI foundation, Bhavesh Patel, Lina Devasthali and others who helped in various projects were felicitated by the governor.

Use the word clinic

The governor suggested that Hedgewar hospital should use the word clinic instead of hospital as the word hospital paints a negative picture of an institution with only patients.
