Young opting for buying commercial property, emphasis on starting own business

Aurangabad, June 5:

Business centres are being set up in and around the city. Remarkably, most of the shops in these centres have been booked last year. Youngsters under 45 years of age have bought more than 50 per cent of them.

It shows that the youths are now choosing to start their own business, service industry units, instead of pursuing jobs. Vinod Agarwal, director, Vansh Group, said that many people lost their jobs during the corona period. The salaries of those who are employed have been reduced. Many businesses, industries have suffered badly. However, those who have their commercial property persevered. This had a positive effect on the young generation. Their tendency to start their own enterprises rather than to get a job was enhanced. For this, instead of paying the rent, one should buy a commercial space and start a business. The idea of paying the bank’s EMI instead of paying rent is now being fancied. As a result, commercial gallas ranging from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 15 lakh are being purchased.

Pensioners financing their sons

A retiring person gets a big amount on his retirement. The ones whose son is engineer, doctor, IIT, or MBA, are financing their sons to buy commercial property. This is increasing the demand for business centres in the city. In such business centres, the needs of the newcomers are being identified and Wi-Fi facilities, technical security cover, CCTV cameras, security cabins etc. are being provided.

Business centres are being set up in Chikalthana, Jalna Road, Kumbhephal, Shendra, Waluj, Pandharpur, Bidkin, Beed Bypass, Station Road and also in the city. Builders are planning to set up more business centres in the coming year.

Businesses on expansion

A section of traders supplies daily necessities, other materials, goods to the industries here. They are called industrial suppliers. DMIC will bring big industries to Shendra, Bidkin industrial estate and it has enabled industrial suppliers to expand their business. This class is also now turning to the business centre, and many want to start their own company. They also prefer the business centre.
