ZP Ceo warns GP administrators of disciplinary action for self publicity

Aurangabad, Oct 17:

The Zilla Parishad CEO Dr Mangesh Gondawale has ordered the administrators appointed on 546 gram panchayats (GPs) to avert from doing self publicity while inaugurating the development works. He said that strict disciplinary action will be taken if any photographs and videos are published on social media platforms and banners.

A month has passed since the appointment of administrators on 546 gram panchayats (GPs) in the district. However, the administrators are developing closeness to the political parties. Hence the political activists are publishing the photographs of the administrators on banners and on social media. Many parties are taking credit for the development works. Hence taking serious note ZP chief executive officer Dr Gondawale issued a circular in this regard.

The circular said that the administrators must stay away from publicity on social media, advertisements and banners of the inauguration of various development works. If an administrator is found doing this, he will be liable for action as per Zilla Parishad Service Discipline and Appeal Rules, 1964. The block development officer should warn the administrators. Otherwise, disciplinary action will be taken, said Dr Gondawale.
