Mahendra Singh Dhoni has won the toss and elected to field first against two time champions Kolkata Knight Riders. A win for KKR will keep them in the hunt for the playoffs, but a loss will more or less making it difficult for them to qualify for the top four. CSK, currently at the bottom of the points table, are already out of the playoff race and are only playing for their pride.
Eoin Morgan’s side is coming into the contest after losing the previous fixture to KXIP. In terms of changes Shane Watson, Ngidi and Karn Sharma are back in the squad, replacing Faf, Imran Tahir and Monu Singh. On the other hand, Andre Russell is still not available for KKR with Rinku Singh replacing an out of form Prasidh Krishna.
