In the first of the three-match One Day International (ODI) series, Australia cricket team captain Aaron Finch won the toss and elected to bat against India at the Sydney Cricket Ground today. Virat Kohli informed at the toss that Mayank Agarwal will open with Shikhar Dhawan while Manish Pandey, Shubman Gill, Shardul Thakur, Natarajan and Sanju Samson are the five players missing out.

Australia are playing Marcus Stoinis, Glenn Maxwell in the middle order. This is  India’s first ODI in 10 months and their first international fixture in close to 9 months. India’s new-ball bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami will look to strike early with the new ball. In Australia it always has a chance of seaming a bit with the new ball and both Bumrah and Shami would like to exploit that. However, Australia opener David Warner and Aaron Finch have a good record against India.
