Earlier, fifty's from Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan guided Mumbai Indians to a score of 200 for 5 in their 20 overs against Shreyas Iyer-led Delhi Capitals in the first qualifier of Indian Premier League 2020. Ishan turned out to be the top-scorer with unbeaten 55 of 30 balls, including 3 maximums. In the chase, Delhi got off to a poor start losing their first three wickets in the powerplay. For DC, Ashwin was among wickets as he returned with the figures of 3/29. . Dew came in later but it was too late for Shreyas Iyer's side. Earlier, DC won the toss and opted to bowl first against Mumbai Indians at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium today. Mumbai made three changes to the side - Jasprit Bumrah, Trent Boult and Hardik Pandya returning to the side. Now Delhi has another chance at the final in qualifier 2, to be held on November 8 in Abu Dhabi.
