World Cup winning coach Gary Kirsten in all probability will return to South Africa's coaching setup as mentor. According to a report in cricbuzz Kirsten is likely to be brought as mentor to team director Enoch Nkwe under whose guidance SA lost an away test series against India. The former proteas coach is currently in change of Durban Heat in MSL and is has worked with T20 franchises across the globe including Hobart Hurricanes and Delhi Daredevils. 

Late last week, Jacques Faul was appointed the acting CEO of CSA after the full time CEO Thabang More was placed on precautionary suspension. Meanwhile, former captain Graeme Smith has agreed in principle to fill CSA's director of cricket operations. Kirsten coached South Africa between October 2011 and July 2013, a period in which they became the No. 1 Test team in the world. He was in charge of a team that included Smith, Jacques Kallis and Mark Boucher, all of whom have been named among people that could be approached to assist the board this summer.
