The Pakistan cricket team who have endured a horrendus run in their last 10 T20 matches have made a sea of changes for the T20 series against Bangladesh. The likes of Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Amir, Imam Ul Haq, Wahab Riaz, Haris Sohail, Mohammad Irfan and Asif Ali have been dropped from the side. Meanwhile, Mohammad Hafeez and Shoaib Malik have returned to the squad after a long spell on the sidelines. However, the exclusion of Kamran Akmal have raised quite a few eyebrows. Kamran who last played an international game in 2017 has been in prolific form in the domestic circuit.

Hurt by the snub, Kamran Akmal took to Twitter where he wrote, “Hurt&heart broken for not being considered 4 team. i have really worked hard ..anyways i won’t give up i will work harder & would like to thank everyone who supported me jazak Allah thank you” Akmal tweeted. On the other hand, Kamran congratulated Hafeez and Malik for their selection in the squad. Kamran has represented Pakistan in 157 ODIs and 53 tests.
