India clinched a series-levelling 8-run win in the fourth T20I. An all-round helped the hosts bounce right back into the series. It was Shardul Thakur who held his nerve in th end, after Jofra Archer smacked the Mumbai bowler for a couple of fours and sixers. For England, it was Stokes and Bairstow who anchored the innings before Shardul Thakur changed the game on his head with two quick wickets. Thakur finished with figures of 3 for 42, and was ably supported by Hardik Pandya who conceded 16 runs off his four overs. 

This was clearly England's chase to lose, as the world champions had the arsenal to chase the target with a lot of dew around. Sent out to bat again, India posted a challenging total of 185/8 at the end of their innings with the help of Suryakumar Yadav’s maiden T20I fifty. After the openers’ dismissals, the 30-year-old controlled the innings with a 31-ball 57. Rishabh Pant (30) and Shreyas Iyer (37) also pitched in with runs towards the end. On the other hand, Jofra Archer registered figures of 4/33. Now, the fifth and final T20I on Saturday is the series-decider,
