An outstanding knock from Shubman Gill comes to an end on 91. The elegant batsman misses out on a maiden ton. He batted for 146 balls, hit 8x4, 2x6 and shared a 114-run stand with Pujara in the final day of the fourth Test against Australia at the Gabba on Tuesday.

India's score reads 138/2, with Pujara on the field. India need 190 runs to win the match and have eight wickets in hand. While Gill scored 91 off 146 balls.

Resuming the day from 4/0, Indian suffered an early blow as Rohit Sharma (7) was dismissed by Pat Cummins in the ninth over. Opener Gill was then joined by Pujara on the field.

Earlier on Monday, in the final session on day four, with rain playing spoilsport, the Indian openers Rohit and Gill could face just 1.5 overs before the umpires decided to call for early stumps.

Australia was bundled out for 294, setting a target of 328 in front of India. For the visitors, Mohammad Siraj scalped five wickets in the second innings while Steve Smith top-scored for the hosts.
