Chasing a target of 337 runs, England cruised home comfortably with six wicket win thanks to the efforts of the English batsman. Jonny Bairstow registered a century for England before getting sent back to the pavilion. Also, Ben Stokes and Jason Roy registered half-centuries before their dismissals, with the former departing after scoring 99 runs. For India it was Prasidh Krishna who once again shined with the bowl for the home team. A few quick wickets in the middle did cause some panic, but Malan and Liam Livingstone ensured the World Champions register a easy win without any further hiccups.

Earlier, the hosts wrapped up their innings at 336 for six in 50 overs, with KL Rahul smashing a century (108 off 114 balls). Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant (77) and Virat Kohli (66) also registered half-centuries against a disappointing visiting bowling department. For England, Reece Topley and Tom Curran were in decent form, taking two wickets each. Meanwhile, Sam Curran and Adil Rashid registered a dismissal each. By virtue of this win, England have levelled the series 1-1 with the final game to be played on Sunday.
