KL Rahul scored a century off 62 balls and finished on an unbeaten 132, powering Kings XI Punjab to a strong 206\3 against Royal Challengers Bangalore in Match 6 of the Indian Premier League 2020.  Virat Kohli dropped him twice in two overs. Before that, Shivam Dube dismissed Nicholas Pooran and Glenn Maxwell in quick succession. KXIP took their strategic time out break after 14 overs with the score at 118/2. KL Rahul is batting after registering his 17th IPL half-century off 36 balls. Kings XI were looking for something in the range of 180 at the 16th over mark but they easily breached that with some terrific hitting at the end overs.

Earlier, Yuzvendra Chahal dismissed Mayank Agarwal for 26 to give RCB their first breakthrough. KXIP’s first wicket pair of Agarwal and Rahul added 57 runs before the stand was snapped by a Chahal googly. This was after Virat Kohli won the toss and RCB opted to bowl. KXIP have made two changes with James Neesham included in the Playing XI. Still no Chris Gayle though. All eyes will also be on the battle between Rahul and Virat Kohli. Kohli’s RCB began their campaign with a win the other night, while their opponents for Thursday, KXIP came close but lost in the Super Over to Delhi Capitals.
