Eoin Morgan took Kolkata Knight Riders to 174/6 in 20 overs. Rajasthan Royals need 175 to win. Morgan remained unbeaten on 34. Andre Russell smashed three sixes, but sliced it to Jaydev Unadkat at deep backward point and was dismissed for 24. It was Ankit Rajpoot who got the big man. Dinesh Karthik did not get going and edged one to Jos Buttler behind the stumps in Jofra Archer’s over.

Shubman Gill and Nitish Rana, earlier built a good partnership but were dismissed in quick succession.  Rajasthan Royals will be quite happy with this total after having elected to bowl. They pulled it back after KKR had gotten off to a decent start. The one thing that stood out was Smith's use of Archer. The England fast bowler started the innings with a fiery over and that remained the template throughout. The onus is now on the likes of Jos Buttler, Sanju Samson, Steve Smith and former KKR player Robin Uthappa. Both teams made no changes to their winning combination from their previous games.
