Former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh a few days back slammed  the Kolkata Knight Riders management decision to  release power-hitter Chris Lynn from their squad for the upcoming IPL season. The Queenslander found some backing from Yuvi who termed the decision to release the Australian a 'bad call.' Yuvraj joked that he might drop a message to one of KKR’s co-owners on that. Interestingly, the CEO of KKR Venky Mysore had cheeky reply on Yuvi's comment which he shared on his micro-blogging site. Venky said, @YUVSTRONG12 we released @lynny50 so that we could bid for you! 😜 Love and respect for both of you champions! #IPL2020 #KKR #Legends #Sixhitters @KKRiders.

Recently when Lynn was quizzed about his views on being released by KKR, Lynn maintained that he was not harboring any bad feelings towards the owners, management, or the head coach. Lynn added that KKR coach Brendon McCullum was only trying to win the team another IPL. Lynn looked optimistic as he said that players 'twice as good as him' had been released by teams, so he really did not have too much to feel bad about. The IPL auction will take place at Kolkata on December 19 and buzz is that few of t franchises are interested in acquiring the services of the Australian batsman.
