Royal Challengers Bangalore end up with a fighting score after their alloted 20 overs after being put into bat by Hyderabad.   Maxwell was the top scorer for Virat Kohli's side as the Victorian scored his first IPL fifty after five years. With a victory against defending champions Mumbai Indians in their season opener, a confident RCB will be eagerly seeking a winning momentum while SRH will be eying their first win, this edition.

The last time RCB successfully defended a target under 155 was in April 2009 when they defended 145 against KXIP in Durban in 2009. Maxwell started slowly. At one stage, he was 9 off 16 at one point. It was a commendable bowling effort by Hyderabad. Rashid Khan bagged a couple of wickets and was pretty economical. Earlier, SRH won the toss and opted to bowl first.
