All you need to know about Katrina Kaif's handsome bodyguard Deepak Singh

News of the marriage of Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif and actor Vicky Kaushal is in the news. So far people know almost everything about the professional and personal life of the actress. But there is another person in her life who protects her life.

Every time the actress steps out in public, Deepak is there as a human shield for her. Deepak is often seen in one frame alongside Bollywood stars and can easily pass on as a celebrity himself. In an old interview with a news portal, he had said that he needed to look different from other guys. According to him, dressing well also gives you an edge. "If you wear a normal safari suit, it gives everyone the notion that this guy is a security guard. So you need to look presentable if you are travelling with a VVIP. You need to blend in," he'd said.

Katrina is not the only one he has provided security for. Deepak has reportedly worked with several national and international stars providing them security on different occasions.

His long list of clients includes stars such as Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Jacqueline Fernandez, Paris Hilton, Deepika Padukone among others.

Deepak came to Mumbai in 1999 with dreams of becoming a cricketer. He trained under Chandrakant Pandit. Unfortunately, he only ended up playing at the college-level and couldn’t break into the big league.

He had apparently started off late whereas boys start training in school itself. After his failed attempts in cricket, he landed a job at a security agency.

Not many know that actor Ronit Roy is Deepak’s brother-in-law and gave him a job at his security agency. According to reports, Deepak’s first on-field assignment was as a doorman on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Black'.

Later, he climbed up the success ladder when he bagged his first big assignment of guarding Rani Mukerji at an awards ceremony in Mauritius.

Given his good looks and charm, it doesn’t come as a surprise that Deepak has been getting acting offers. He said in the interview that many actors, designers, and filmmakers have advised him to try his hands in acting. However, he has not taken up any offers. According to him, he wants to be the Shah Rukh Khan of his field.
