In the finale of the Womens T20 challenge, left-arm spinner Radha Yadav wreaked havoc with 5 wickets. The Trailbrazers innings started on a positive note with Smriti and Deandra batting well in the powerplay with a half century stand. However, the second half was all about the Supernova spinner with spinners Poonam Yadav choking the batsman to a low total. Last 5 overs, only 17 runs as the duon restricted the proceedings for the Trailblazers.
Smriti Mandhana was the star for the pink team as she scored a quickfire 68. Earlier, Harmanpreet Kaur’s Supernovas won the toss and elected to field first against Smriti Mandhana-led Trailblazers in the final of the Women’s T20 Challenge at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium today. If Supernovas win then it will be a hat-trick of titles for the Supernovas.
