Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) scored 185/4 in 20 overs against Rajasthan Royals (RR), who overhauled the target with 7 wickets to spare and 2.3 overs left. KL Rahul (46) and Gayle added a 120-run partnership to set the tone for the innings, before Nicholas Pooran contributed some big shots towards the end of the innings. Ben Stokes (50) got the chase off to a flier, before Sanju Samson (48) set the tone in the middle overs.
 

Steve Smith (31*) and Jos Buttler brought up the winning runs in quick time. With this win, RR stay alive in the play-off race, climbing to fifth spot in the table. Earlier,  Rajasthan Royals have won the toss and elected to field first against Kings XI Punjab. KXIP are unchanged from their previous game, whereas RR have made one change to their XI with Varun Aaron coming back in place of Ankit Rajpoot.
