Rajasthan Royals have won the toss and have opted to field against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Wankhede. Bowling is the biggest worry for the both the sides especially for Kolkata.  They have conceded over 200 in the last two games. And the batting hasn't clicked in unison; Nitish Rana and Rahul Tripathi have scored at the top but Shubman Gill's lack of runs is a concern. For Royals, there are quite a few positives, the emergence of Chetan Sakariya and the lower order contributing but it is the experienced players who have let them down. Jos Buttler is yet to fire, apart from one innings each from Samson and Miller respectively, they haven't made any significant contribution. One win from four games is all Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders have had so far in the IPL.

Rajasthan almost crossed the line in their tournament opener, beat Delhi Capitals in their second, before being outplayed in their next two. They are evidently missing Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer, who were important cogs in their set-up. Their confidence-crushing, ten-wicket drubbing at the hands of RCB exposed not just their fragile bowling, but also the inconsistency in batting. Skipper Samson since his 119 in the first game, has had scores of 4, 1 and 21; Buttler has failed to create the impact he's known for as the Royals have continued to lose wickets in the powerplay, continuing a trend from last season. KKR need runs from Eoin Morgan, who has been dismissed for less than 50 only once in five innings against RR. It will be both RR and KKR's last game in Mumbai before they move to what could be spin-friendly wickets in Delhi and Ahmedabad.
