In a comedy of errors, Virat Kohli won the toss after a lot of confusion at the Wankhede. RR's bowlers have been the worst in the death overs economy wise in the last two seasons. This season, they're second from last.  This was the pitch used for Match 2 and 4 this season and we have had 816 runs scored. Gopal replaces Unadkat in the Royals lineup. Richardson replaces Patidar, for RCB

Even keeping aside RCB's unbeaten run to start the season, the way their batting has performed at Chepauk on the back of stellar shows from Maxwell and de Villiers, it makes you wonder what they can do here at the Wankhede where only yesterday over 420 runs were scored. RR certainly don't have that kind of firepower in the middle order.  AB de Villiers was striking at close to 250 in this phase at Chepauk. RR lost both their matches to RCB last season. So with the odds heavily stacked against them.
