Melbourne Renegades who are languishing at the bottom of the table in this year's Big Bash League have signed English all-rounder Samit Patel as replacement for Harry Gurney. The defending champions who are yet to register their first win has had a dissapointing first half. Meanwhile, Aaron Finch and Kane Richardson are also likely to miss out on a few games till January 21st.
Fast bowler Andrew Fekete also joins the squad as a local replacement player for Mackenzie Harvey. Marcus Harris has also been included, with Tom Cooper, Jack Wildermuth, and Joe Mennie being left out. Patel who is a handy middle order batsman has played 6 Tests and 36 ODIs and 18 T20S for England in his short career.
