Defending champions Mumbai Indians in a recent trade off have transferred batsman Siddesh Lad to Kolkata Knight Riders. Lad who was signed by Mumbai ahead of the 2015 edition has so far played just one game for the four time IPL champions. In a official statement BCCI secretary Jay Shah announced the successful trade off between MI and KKR. The trade window for the next season is expected to close today. He is also a useful off-spinner having snared 18 wickets and has a highest score of 82 in T20s. Kolkata Kinight Riders announced the arrival of their new signing on their Twitter handle.
