Teenage pace sensation Naseem Shah etched his name his history books as he become the youngest player to play on Australian soil. He received his maiden test cap from bowling coach Waqar Younis. The 16-year old kissed his cap and burst into tears as he was congratulated by his teammates. The young seamer was appaluded by Twitterati for his monumental achievement as the video of his cap receiving ceremony went viral.

The youngster has been in the news ever since he bowled a fiery spell in the tour game against Australia A. The teenager tormented Usman Khawaja with short balls and almost got his wicket during the testing spell. Naseem lost his mother while he was on the Australian tour. After consulting his family, he chose not to return home. Interestingly, he has played only seven first-class matches in which he has scalped 27 wickets at an average of 16.66.
