Two South Africa players have tested positive for COVID-19 during the team's culture camp in Skukuza, Cricket South Africa confirmed on Thursday (August 20). Both players were asymptomatic and are in isolation as per protocols. There will be no replacements for the two players. "While both players are asymptomatic, CSA's medical team will continue to regularly follow up with them to ensure their health and well-being," CSA said in a release. 

"There were no replacements made for the two players who tested positive. All those unable to attend the camp will join the proceedings virtually. The testing is in line with fulfilling the organization's obligation and commitment to control the spread of the virus."Faf du Plessis hasn't been able to attend the camp because of the birth of his second child while Theunis de Bruyn has joined the camp. The camp, from August 18-22, is being conducted to educate the players as cricket in South Africa grapples with race issues. Aiden Markram, Andile Phehlukwayo, Anrich Nortje, Beuran Hendricks and David Miller are few of the players who are part of the camp.
