Vijay Mallya takes a dig at RCB for their failure to clinch the IPL trophy

Few days ago the Royal Challengers Bangalore deleted profile pictures and photos from their respective social media accounts leave Virat Kohli, Chahal, and cricket fans suprised. However, on Friday, the team unveiled a new logo ahead of IPL 2020. The new RCB logo is of a Lion returning to the Royal Lineage with a crown on his head. After revealing a fresh logo, RCB also treated their fans by presenting a new-look jersey for IPL 2020. The jersey is perfectly balanced in two red and black halves, separated by a golden stroke.

The change in logo by the franchise was met with mixed reactions by fans who wanted the management to change the players and not their logo. Meanwhile, ex-chairman Vijay Mallya also expressed his reaction on the change of logos and took a hilarious dig at RCB for their failure to clinch the IPL trophy yet. A new chapter begins,” tweeted RCB while sharing a clip of their journey since the inception of IPL. Mallya responded to the tweet saying– “Great…but win the trophy!” Mallya, last February, resigned as chairman and non-executive director of Royal Challengers Sports Private Limited (RCSPL) who runs RCB. Since his resignation last year, Mallya has not been associated and involved in any operations of the franchise whatsoever.
