The coronavirus induced lockdown caused Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza to stay away from each other. However, as soon as the rules of lockdown were relaxed, Indian tennis star Sania arrived in Dubai with her son Izhan. From Dubai she went to Karachi with Pakistani cricketer and her husband Shoaib Malik.
Shoaib is currently representing Peshawar's Zalmi team in the Pakistan Super League, and a day before her birthday (November 15), Sania was spotted at the Karachi stadium during the Lahore Qalandars vs Peshawar Zalmi Eliminator match in PSL 2020 on November 14. She showed up at the National Stadium in Karachi to cheer her husband on.
Her pictures in the stands during the match have gone viral. Mirza, a six-time Grand Slam champion, was spotted in the stands with her son Izhaan Mirza Malik.
The Peshawar team has been runners-up in the last two editions of the PSL. Sania and Shoaib got married on April 12, 2010.
Twitter immediately reacted in delight after cameras panned at Mirza in the stands during the match. Take a look at some reactions on Twitter.
