Indian fast bowler Mohammed Shami recently came forward to help migrant workers who are among the worst hit by Covid-19 pandemic. The India fast bowler is currently in his native village Sahaspur in Amroha (Uttar Pradesh). The cricketer distributed food packets and fruits to migrant workers passing through National Highway-24. With majority of the cricketing activities suspended the cricketer has been doing his bit to help the poor and the needy. Netizens appreciated Shami's noble gesture.
Shami has been in the limelight for his alleged personal life wherein his wife has accused Shami of adultery, domestic violence and match-fixing - allegations that had the Kolkata-based bowler in major controversy. In 2018, Jahan had accused Shami of extra-marital affairs by making public the cricketer’s Facebook photos, WhatsApp chats which was followed complaints of domestic violence lodged against Shami and his family members.
