The struggle for Chennai Super Kings in the ongoing IPL continued as MS Dhoni's men lost their third game on the trot in this year's cash rich league. Super Kings went through a terrible top-order collapse as they began their run-chase losing Shane Watson quickly. Later, Rayudu fell prey to T Natarajan with a cracker of a delivery followed by  Faf du Plessis and Kedhar Jadhav leaving their team reeling at 42/4.

CSK came back strongly after Jadeja played a brief cameo down the order giving the three time champions an outside chance against a disciplined Sunrisers bowling attack. In the end the target proved a bit too much as Dhoni failed to get the maximum's in the death overs. Earlier, SRH won the toss and elected to bat first in Dubai wherein youngsters Priyam Garg and Abhishek Sharma stitched a 77-run stand for the fifth wicket. Garg slammed his maiden IPL fifty off just 23 balls, helping his team post 164/5 in 20 overs. The U-19 captain was adjudged man of the match for his splendid knock.
