Aamir Khan's son Junaid's debut Bollywood film goes on floors, sister Ira pens heartfelt note

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan is all set to make his Bollywood debut. According to Bollywood Hungama, the shoot of his first film was to begin on February 15. The film is a period drama set in the mid-1800s. The period drama is tentatively named Maharaja and will be directed by Siddharth P Malhotra. He was seen along with the production team to set up the groundwork a few days ago at the location. Siddharth P Malhotra is popularly known for his Rani Mukherjee film Hitchki. The film is said to feature actors like Sharvari Wagh, Shalini Pandey and Jaideep Ahlawat. Sharvari Wagh who will soon be seen making her debut with YRF's Bunty Aur Babli 2 will be seen playing the lead in the film.

Jaideep Ahlawat gained popularity after his Amazon Prime Video series Paatal Lok. Today, Junaid’s sister Ira Khan has shared a heartfelt post for her brother. She took to her Instagram handle and shared an adorable throwback picture of her along with her brother Junaid. In the picture, Ira can be seen sitting on her knees and giving a bouquet to her elder brother. In her post, he has mentioned that Junaid had earlier worked in her play and his professionalism is unparalleled. Her note read as, “Junnuu! This wasn't his first play or his first show or our first play together but.. today is his first day! Of shoot. And I love this picture. He's been acting for a few years now but its still new for me. He even acted my play so I should be over it... but I've been his younger sister longer than any of the other things.” The release date of the film has not been revealed yet.
