Actress Aashka Goradia and her husband Brent Goble have been tested positive for COVID-19. The couple, who got themselves tested as they were to leave for their home in the US, have no symptoms and are in isolation. Brent and Aashka's first report came out to be negative but to be double sure they went for another report and they both tested positive for the virus. Taking to her Instagram stories, Aashka Goradia wrote, “In preparation for our trip to my home in the US, @ibrentgoble and I have both tested positive for COVID. We have been reeling from this news since this morning when we were just about to leave Goa. Both of us are feeling fine physically but the test reports say otherwise and that means we have to let the virus run its course. Thankfully with our active and healthy lifestyles we aren't experiencing any debilitating symptoms. We are at our home in Goa, safe, and not in contact with anyone (sic).”

Aashka further warned her fans that everyone is at risk from the virus. She also called it a 'nasty and sly devil. She wrote, "Folks, it doesn't matter if you are healthy, everyone, literally everyone, is at risk. This new strain is a nasty and sly devil. We had tested on Saturday, and reports came back negative. Monday we tested again to be double sure, and .... lockdown (sic)."Concluding her post on a positive note, Aashka wrote, “While we appreciate all the concern and speed recovery wishes, I’d implore everyone reading this to please keep those who are really debilitated in your thoughts and prayer. We will be fine, while so many others may not be. Let’s all hold a space for THEIR recovery, as well as those who are indirectly impacted. So much love from us (sic).”Aashka recently announced about her decision of quitting acting to pursue her business  dreams. Aashka became popular after portraying the role of Kumud in Kkusum (20032005) and Kallavati in Laagi Tujhse Lagan. She was also a part of Bigg Boss in 2012 and later appeared in the dance reality show Nach Baliye with her husband Brent Goble. She was most recently seen playing the role of Sapt-roopa in the TV soap Daayan.
