Superstar Akshay Kumar attended the mahurat of Ram Setu in Ayodhya. The actor flew down to the city with Jacqueline Fernandez, Nushratt Bharuccha and other team members for the muhurat shot. The actor shared a photo from the puja that was conducted to kickstart the film in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Directed by Abhishek Sharma, Ram Setu will see Akshay in the role of an archaeologist. Akshay Kumar shared a photo from the muhurat of Ram Setu where priests can be seen conducting the puja with a photo of Lord Ram and Sita in front of them.
A clapper board with Ram Setu written on it can also be seen in the photo. Sharing the photo, Akshay wrote, "Aaj Shri Ayoshya ji main film Ram Setu ke shubhaarambh par bhagwan Shri Ram ka aashirwaad prapt hua. Jai Shri Ram (Today, we got the blessings of Lord Ram as we kickstarted our film Ram Setu in Ayodhya) (sic)."Earlier today, Akshay Kumar shared a photo of himself as he jetted off to Ayodhya from Mumbai with Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushratt Bharuccha. In the photo, the actor is seen looking at Jacqueline, while Nushratt can be seen behind him.
