Arjun Rampal's South African girlfriend summoned for the second time by NCB in drugs case

Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal's girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades will once again appear before the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) here on Thursday as part of its probe into alleged Bollywood drug nexus case. Demetriades, a South African model, was questioned by the NCB officials for nearly six hours on November 12, 2020. Notably, the 33-year-old model's brother Agisialos Demetriades was arrested in an alleged drugs case by the NCB. On November 9, the Narcotics Control Bureau office had conducted raids at Ajrun Rampal’s premises in Mumbai, post which the actor and his girlfriend Gabriella were summoned to join an ongoing probe. 

While Gabriella has already appeared before the investigating agency, according to Times Now, Arjun Rampal is expected to be questioned today. Before investigating Arjun Rampal and Gabriella Demetriades, the NCB team had raided filmmaker Firoz Nadiadwala’s house which was followed by the arrest of his wife, Shabana Saeed.The apex drug law enforcement agency has so far questioned many Bollywood celebrities like Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor in connection with the case.The ongoing questioning of the Bollywood celebrities is a  part of the NCB's investigations, which started probing alleged drugs angle in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput death case. The NCB was roped in after Enforcement Directorate probing alleged money laundering charges in SSR death case retrieved some WhatsApp messages which hinted at use of drugs.
