Late actor Irrfan Khan’s son Babil has wrapped the first schedule of his debut movie. Confirming the same, Babil shared a heartfelt note alongside a beautiful picture with his childhood friend on his Instagram. “I have finished my first shooting schedule. Damn. Also, with my childhood best friend bama side. In the process, I realised that it is absolutely necessary to remember that your self-importance will drown you if you’re not extremely careful and honest with yourself. You are part of a story, and the story will always be bigger than you. (Whether you are an actor or not). Have a great day today!” Babil captioned the picture. In the picture shared by Babil, he is seen standing amid snow with his friend.

Last month, Babil shared some of the notes written by his late father Irrfan on acting on Instagram. He called the precious find the Book of Eli. Babil wrote, “To the greatest Dad” on it. Irrfan used the diary to take down notes on acting. Babil wrote, “I just found this book in Baba’s cupboard that I had given him when I was like 12 (he used to hate it when I used to call him ‘Dad’ but whilst puberty global westernisation was beginning to ripen) He had been writing notes on acting for me in it that I think he was going to teach me after film school, so I guess I have just found the ‘Book of Eli’. I’ll share with you the first few notes cause I want you to think I’m nice (sic).”He then added the notes, “1. The intent - general but specific emotion like displacement, if you are unable to identify with a specific situation. 2. The text is holy in context eg. the woman in the man, self-pity, sexual politics etc. 3. Follow the action of the text sincerely and the required emotion will arise - the intention of the lines are to tell a story and not to pass information. 4. Drama has to be created, it cannot be represented or portrayed like a fact (sic).” Irrfan breathed his last on April 29 after a long battle with neuroendocrine tumour. He was last seen in Angrezi Medium with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Radhika Madan.
