CBI visits Disha Salian’s boyfriend Rohan Rai’s residence - Reports

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team visited the residence of Disha Salian’s fiance, Rohan Rai, on Wednesday. The news was confirmed in a sting operation by Republic TV on a security guard at the building where the celebrity manager had died. A five-officer team of the CBI reached the house in Mumbai’s Malad at 10 pm. Without informing the security, they entered the flat and spent an hour at the venue. The guard claimed that the officers ‘did not like police officers, but from the agencies’. However, as per our sources, the officers were from CBI. It is not clear yet what exactly transpired at the venue, but sources say that the officers gathered some forensic evidence.

Disha reportedly managed Rajput for a while, during her stint as a celebrity manager with a talent agency. The news of Salian’s death came just a week before the untimely demise of the Bollywood actor. It was reported that Salian fell from her high-rise apartment. The police had registered a case of accidental death and began their investigations to rule out any possibility of foul play, while also asking people with information to come forward. While various conspiracies have been doing the rounds linking Salian’s death to SSR’s demise, her parents have rubbished all such reports and even went the legal route by asking police to take action against those spreading rumours and defaming their daughter. Meanwhile, in a fresh development in the SSR death case, the CBI is likely to wrap up its probe soon and submit a closure report. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the CBI, which has been probing the death of the 'Kedarnath' actor, is likely to submit its closure report of the case to a CBI court in Bihar within a few days.
