Actress Deepika Padukone has revealed that she is a big fan of former Indian-international cricketer Rahul Dravid. Deepika Padukone said, "My all time favorite cricketer is Rahul Dravid. A lot of my idols are not because of how much they have contributed to the game, but because how they have handled themselves out. For me he is a person whom I have admired and adored and he is also from Bengaluru".

Apart from this, Deepika Padukone also told about the importance of sports in life. During Star Sports pre-show Nerolac Cricket Live, Deepika said, "What we do to strengthen our physical strength, mental endurance, both of these matters. Sometimes you feel that your body and your brain is not in harmony. Sometimes our brain dominates us, and it is very important to take care of it. A young athlete pays attention to it, but they  also need to pay attention towards building patience, courage, determination and enthusiasm".

On the work front, the trailer of Deepika Padukone's upcoming film 'Chhapaak' has been released, which depicts the story of Acid Attack Survivor Laxmi Agarwal, in which the actress has played the role of Malti. Vikrant Masse also plays the lead role in this film along with Deepika Padukone. Apart from this film, Deepika Padukone is also going to be seen in '83' with Ranveer.
