ED raids 'Raabta' director Dinesh Vijan's house to probe financial angle in Sushant's death case

The Enforcement Directorate (ED), probing the money-laundering angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case has conducted  raids at director-producer Dinesh Vijan's home and office.According to the latest Times Now's report, the ED officials are currently raiding Dinesh Vijan's Mumbai residence. The report also suggests that Vijan had signed a two project deal with the late actor, but post 'Raabta' the other project never took off. While the ED officials are raiding the director's Mumbai house residence, they are reported to be looking into the transactions involved in the contract related and monetary details related to the second project.

Dinesh Vijan had directed Sushant Singh Rajput's 2017 film, Raabta, which also starred Kriti Sanon. Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14.  The ED came into the investigation to probe a possible money-laundering case against Rhea Chakraborty, after Sushant Singh Rajput's father, KK Singh, in an FIR, accused Rhea of siphoning Rs 15 crore from Sushant Singh Rajput's bank accounts. However, In their probe against Rhea Chakraborty and others, ED hasn't found any suspicious transaction which could support the allegation that they siphoned off money from Sushant Singh Rajput's accounts. Meanwhile, the CBI is currently investigating the late actor's death case. On the other hand, the AIIMS team re-evaluated Sushant's autopsy report and found no trace of strangulation. Furthermore, they have reportedly concluded it as a case of suicide and have submitted their findings to the CBI.
